Free Electronics Recycling Program
Second Friday of the month, starting in May
The Village of Westmont will continue to partner with DuPage Count and area recycling companies to host its popular free electronics recycling program. On the second Friday of each month, residents can drop off various unanted electronics at the Ty arner Park south parking lot at Blackhak and Plaza Drive. The program begins in May and continues through December. For more information, contact the DuPage Count at (630) 407-6700. Community Blood Drives
May 31, August 23, & December 20
The Westmont Fire Department will host three Community Blood Drives in 2012. The blood drives are coordinated in affiliation with area blood banks that provide blood to local hospitals. Westmont Blood Drives typically occur at the Fire Department Headquarter, 6015 S. Cass from 3:30-6:30 p.m.  For more information, contact the Fire Department at (630) 981-6400

Patriot Day Ceremony
In 2011, the Village of Westmont held its annual Patriot Day ceremony in honor of emergency services personnel ho lost thier lives in the call of duty and to remember the people who pershied during the tragedy and more than 300 people attended the Patriot Day event. In 2012, the ceremony will continue to take place on Sept. 11 at the Police and  Fire Facility at 500 N. Cass Avenue.
